Grow

Connect

Serve

Grow – Connect – Serve are three core values that infuse all Ridge ministries. Our goal is to provide space for you to grow spiritually, emotionally and relationally. Jesus said that the greatest commandment was to love God and the second was to love people. This means that we were designed for growth, connection and service. We believe that when these three core values are happening, we are loving God and loving people according to his design.

Ministries

The Ridge Kids’ ministry team provides a dynamic learning environment of discipleship and growth in Jesus Christ. Children from birth through fifth grade learn through hands-on activities from 9:45 to 11:15 each Sunday. Gospel-centered art, worship, and play help children apply God’s Word.
For more information, contact Tracey Schildberg (traceys@theridgetucson.com or 520-282-9726) or Cyndi Wendorf (cyndiw@theridgetucson.com or 520-232-4020).
Our Student Ministry program is for students in junior high and high school. Youth meet Wednesday nights, 6:30-8:00, and Sunday mornings, 8:45-9:45, for small-group Bible studies and fellowship. Retreats and summer camps add to the fun! This group focuses on engaging young minds and hearts in developing leadership for Christ.
For more information, contact Steve Johnson, stevej@TheRidgeTucson.com or 520-405-5343.
Women’s Ministry at The Ridge exists to connect and spiritually grow sisters in Christ of every age and background. Activities include Bible studies, coffees, luncheons, and serving our neighbors at The Gospel Rescue Mission of Tucson Women’s and Children’s Center and at Eagles’ Wings of Grace. Each gathering is designed to increase mentorship and fellowship with each other and in our communities.
For more information, contact Kathy Calhoun (kathyc@theridgetucson.com or 520-403-8444).
Men’s Ministry at The Ridge is characterized by relationship-based opportunities for men to grow and mature as Christian leaders in their homes, workplaces, and communities. This involves fun, fellowship, and supporting each other through whatever life brings. Attending the monthly Men’s Breakfast or a Bible study is a great place to start!
For more information, contact Pastor John Kinder, johnk@theridgetucson.com or 520-256-7764 or Eric Kinder at kindereric266@gmail.com or 909-524-1680.

The Ridge provides financial support to Eagles’ Wings of Grace, a local ministry for women re-entering the workforce following trauma, and also serves a monthly home-cooked meal at the Gospel Rescue Mission of Tucson Women’s and Children’s Center. The “Can We Help?” Ridge ministry offers light handyman, carpentry, home-repair, or auto-mechanic skills to those in financial or physical need. Together we build a stronger community. To request “Can We Help?” services, contact Marty Manning at 520-331-8247.

Want to welcome and connect newcomers on Sundays? Get on board with the greeting team to receive visitors, distribute bulletins, and serve Communion in the Body of Christ by contacting JP and Cindy Blount (joltinjp1@yahoo.com or ladybug21059@yahoo.com) or 360-281-6332.

If you have a heart for feeding and welcoming people, we would appreciate your partnership at the Hospitality Table. Sign up and share a monthly snack to bless our hard-working servant leaders and congregation by contacting Heather York at yorkheather01@gmail.com or 520-780-9534

When undergoing a stressful illness or a transition—like the birth of a child or the loss of a loved one, receiving a home-cooked meal can mean the world. We’d love your help in serving up the blessings! To request support or to share it, contact Tammy Bishop at tammybishop68@gmail.com or 208-691-0994.

We have an active prayer team! To request prayer: fill out a yellow card on Sunday morning, submit a form online or, speak with our pastors or elders in person or by email, or simply ask anyone wearing a name tag on Sunday.

Eric and Sally Kinder host an open prayer group in their home on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:50p.m. Join us for an hour of focused prayer together; refreshments will follow. For more details, contact Eric (909-524-1680) or Sally (909-524-1681).

We believe God inhabits the praises of His people. Our worship style is not based on music alone but on living out worship through obedience and Spiritual transformation. Worship goes way beyond singing a song on Sunday morning; it’s living a Spirit-filled life praising and honoring Jesus Christ. For information about how to serve, contact Pastor John Kinder, johnk@theridgetucson.com or 520-256-7764.

The Building Fund

God has blessed us with our current facility and a future permanent home. In Autumn, 2021, the congregation purchased land on the corner of Shannon and Overton. We are in the planning process, both architecturally and financially, seeking God in all decisions. If you would like more info on our future relocation, please contact a pastor or elder.
