Grow – Connect – Serve

Grow – Connect – Serve are three core values that infuse all Ridge ministries. Our goal is to provide space for you to grow spiritually, emotionally and relationally. Jesus said that the greatest commandment was to love God and the second was to love people. This means that we were designed for growth, connection and service. We believe that when these three core values are happening, we are loving God and loving people according to his design.

We desire to grow in the grace of God. Ridge ministries are specifically designed to cultivate growing deeper into God’s grace. This is why all Ridge ministries focus on the love and grace of God. We believe that true growth happens when people encounter the surprising message of God’s grace.

All of our ministries strive to connect people with God and with each other. We live in a busy world but without connection we cannot develop the roots we need to grow spiritually. We hope that you will join us as we build a community that sincerely believes in living out the “one another” commands of Scripture.

We value serving others. We believe God has called us to love people in real ways and this value is reflected in all that we do. We truly believe that the church is a family of faith. Healthy families serve one another. After you have settled in, we hope that you will find a place at The Ridge to use your God-given gifts and abilities. “The goal of our instruction is love that comes from a pure heart.” – 1 Timothy 1:5

The Ridge Kids’ ministry team provides a dynamic learning environment of discipleship and growth in Jesus Christ. Children from birth through fifth grade learn through hands-on activities from 9:45 to 11:15 each Sunday. Gospel-centered art, worship, and play help children apply God’s Word. For more information, contact Tracey Schildberg ( or 520-282-9726) or Cyndi Wendorf ( or 520-232-4020).

Our Student Ministry program is for students in junior high and high school. Youth meet Wednesday nights, 6:30-8:00, and Sunday mornings, 8:45-9:45, for small-group Bible studies and fellowship. Retreats and summer camps add to the fun! This group focuses on engaging young minds and hearts in developing leadership for Christ. For more information, contact Steve Johnson, or 520-405-5343.

Women’s Ministry at The Ridge exists to connect and spiritually grow sisters in Christ of every age and background. Each gathering is designed to increase mentorship and fellowship with each other and in our communities. For more information, contact Kathy Calhoun ( or 520-403-8444).

Men’s Ministry at The Ridge is characterized by relationship-based opportunities for men to grow and mature as Christian leaders in their homes, workplaces, and communities. We believe God inhabits the praises of His people. Our worship style is not based on music alone but on living out worship through obedience and Spiritual transformation. Worship goes way beyond singing a song on Sunday morning; it’s living a Spirit-filled life praising and honoring Jesus Christ. For information about how to serve, contact Pastor John Kinder, or 520-256-7764.
